How To: Stealth Patch XBOX 360 Games On A Mac
This is a tutorial on How To Stealth Path your XBOX 360 games on a Mac. After much searching on google I have had a really difficult time finding anything to help me stealth patch XBOX 360 games on Mac that I’ve downloaded from the internet.
OSx360 Stealth Not Verified
So this is sort of a follow up tutorial for How To Burn your XBOX 360 games on a mac. If you’ve opened OSx360 and the Stealth verification failed then you can’t burn the game and even if you could, you probably wouldn’t be able to play it in your XBOX 360 console.
This tutorial will explain in detail what you should do if Stealth doesn’t pass verification in OSx360. First you must download an application. The application we will need is called abx360, you can google for it or download it below. This application will fix an unverified stealth patch. ( Most of the time )
Download and install abgx360. Once it’s installed, open the application and then open up your ISO file of the game that didn’t pass the Stealth verification by clicking on the blue folder icon to the right of the text input field. You should have something similar to the below illustration.

Now click on the AutoFix tab and copy the settings below.

When you have everything set correctly you can click on the blue Launch button at the very bottom it should turn green when you hover over it with your mouse.

After clicking on the Launch button, a Terminal window should open and you should start seeing a bunch of text similar to the below. DO NOT INTERRUPT THIS PROCESS. Let it do its thing.
Notice the lines in Red, the game I am working with has a blank DMI, a blank PFI and my Stealth check has failed. These are all bad things and fortunately are all things that abgx360 will fix for us.

You will notice that towards the bottom you’ll see some nice green lines of text. PFI, DMI, Video and Stealth have all been fixed, now it just needs to verify the CRC of the ISO. Let it finish, be patient this could take a few minutes. Finally we know that the program has finished when we see the line AutoFix was successful!
You can now close the Terminal and abx360. Now you can follow my tutorial on how to burn your XBOX 360 games on a mac using OSx360 and when the Verify screen pops up you should see something similar to the following.

Everything looks good, Stealth Check has passed, PFI and SS Sector Data are Valid, DMI is Valid and all is right with the world. Now go ahead and burn your game and enjoy.
Hopefully I’m not repeating what someone else has already done but like I said, I have not been able to find a good / if any tutorial on the internet. Please let me know if I missed something or you have some questions or need some help.

This is a very large video partition that isn’t hosted on the database…
You will have to find it elsewhere and put it in your StealthFiles folder

Sorry if it’s a bit jumpy, but I hope you get the drift of what’s happened.
Any solution? Or am I just confused? I get the stealth error in both your (new) burning app as well as OSx360.

Iv just gotten myself a flashed 360 and am wondering if there is a process to actually back up games on the mac? Im a new mac user you see, so im doing my best here. I also have a Samsung PC DVD-ROM Drive flashed with kreon. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

I haven’t been able to test backing up on a Mac, since I don’t have the Samsung drive with the Kreon firmware. If someone would like to donate one to me, I’m sure I’ll be able to find a way to backup XBox 360 games on a mac.
I wish i could donate mine, but i just cant afford to right now. I was thinking if mac users REALLY wanted to rip their games, they could use parallels with xp installed. But Im finding that the xbox creator program doesnt detect my factory standard drive, so im going to attempt to use the samsung drive in parallels to rip the game, check it with abgx in mac or parallels doesnt matter, then burn with the ISOx360 program.

Yeah will do. I have a Early 09′ model macbook, the box says it has a DVD_+DL drive, but when i check the disk burning information i get :

I dont have a DL disk with me, it will be a few days before my gear arrives but ill have to try it out before ill know. Makes me wonder if my box tells lies
The model suggests that it does write DVD + DL discs, so it may just be as simple as inserting a disc and it should say that it will burn DVD + DL, if all else fails you can always get an external DVD DL Drive
Thanks for the answer Chris, checked ABGX but everything seems fine there except there’s a question mark under Bad CRC or needs fixing. The release seems to be fine, works for everyone with the newest flash (I have 1,4 iXtreme)
It may be I’ve totally misunderstood the whole concept with this, it was a while since I actually had some knowledge about Xbox’s, and that was with the original one
I think little snitch fucked up the first times I tried the verification in abgx, I only allowed it to connect on some adresses and only for that session, but now I allowed it to connect anywhere and forever and ever
So the result was a bit different this time.

According from the screen shot for abgx, the ISO appears to be valid. I did find another bug in ISOx360 that I’ve already taken care of, there were a few region codes that I somehow missed to add, and that just messed everything up.
I’ll probably release the new version tomorrow 1.0.2, you can go ahead and burn anyways it should work fine.
Yeah, I’ll try it, but the stealth seems kind of fucked up since it can’t be found in any of the burning apps. I’ve been kind of hesitant since I only have one DL disc left

Sorry about the delay in this post, busy with Uni ect. Just an update, Using parallels and a Kreon flashed drive I have ripped and burned 10 games, one of which had a burn error the first time but perfect the second.I have used the abgx to check stealth’s, in parallels I have used the Xbox Back Up creator by redline99, and written each one with your program. If i can rip another 30 or so games I will be willing to donate my drive. Just waiting for it to pay for its self first!

i love the website it was a lot of help. but i am encountering some problems.
the iso: /Users/bjfish/Downloads/Wolfenstein_USA_RF_XBOX360-PROTOCOL/ptc-wfsx.iso is passing the stealth tests on agbx360 but when i go to OSx360 it says that the stealth failed and it is not working also in agbx360 there were no red lines at all. it does not seem to be working.

As of now there is no version of abgx360 for PPC and I’m not sure if the developer is ever planning on releasing a version for that architecture.

I have checked Wolfenstein_USA_RF_XBOX360-PROTOCOL/ptc-wfsx.iso on abgx all green and verified, tried to burn with Osx360 and also with iBurn360, layerbreak to 1913760. But when I put the disc into ixtreme1.6 flashed xbox, I only get it coming up as DVD which won’t play.
Can you suggest where I am going wrong??

thanks for the great software but i’m a little confused, osx360 says stealth verification failed so i run the iso through abgx360 and that says it passed, i take it i just shut it down and the changes save automatically? but osx360 still says no. I downloaded iso360x and that says its ok so is it ok for me to burn the disk? also i appear to have an extra file with a dvd extension ids that correct? hope this makes sense and look forward to hearing what i’m doing wrong! lol
ian, if abgx360 and ISOx360 both say that the ISO is ok then you should be able to burn without issues.
the file with the dvd extension is only used to tell the burning software what the layerbreak should be, since ISOx360 has the layerbreak preset you don’t have to worry about the .dvd file

ok every 1 i have success fully ripped 4 games on my mac and patched them i used my mates flashed Samsung drive it took me a bit of fiddling but was actually quiet easy add me for info randy_rox69lol@hotmail.com

I’ve read your How-To download games and it’s fantastic, I’ve downloaded RockBand: The Beatles and Madden 10. Then I follow the steps to verified and burn this games but when I put them on my Xbox it thinks it’s a DVD, why?
I have my Xbox Flashed (on Feb) buy a guy that knows about this things. I don’t know what version I’m using (i’ve read it has to be 1.6 but I don’t know where to check that). Can you give me a hand?

Thanks, short of taking the drive out and connecting it to the computer you wont know what version firmware is installed.
The only thing other then doing that I can recommend is check if wave 2 games work, if they do then you have a version prior to 1.51
You can check the wave of a game using abgx360

I just have a quick question: i don’t know exactly how microsoft checks if you have you xbox modded, i bet you understand all this better than me. What’s the risk, after using your software and doing all the steps of your tutorial, of getting ban by Microsoft. Yeah, im a little bit scared of getting caught!

I wouldn’t worry too much about it, ever since version 1.51 came out, I haven’t heard of anyone being banned from XBox Live. I myself haven’t been banned and I always play online.

Hey chris. So I tried the OSx360 and when verified the ISO I get
Stealth checks: failed
PFI Sector Data: INVALID
Then when I ask the abgx to verify it I get everything perfect.
So what now? Send me an email if want the screenshot.

there is a hidden abgx360 folder in your home folder, if you open up a terminal window, it should already be in your home folder and then type in this command ls -ah that will listed all hidden files and folders, the folder your looking for should be .abgx360 inside that folder is where the iso needs to go. I’m not sure though if it goes into that folder or into the stealth files folder within the abgx360 folder, you’ll have to check and see.

Thanks for the great tutorial but im having some difficulties in burning the game onto the disk.
I have used abgx360 to stealth patch the .iso file and, from this, a .dvd file has appeared beside.
I then open OSx360 in order to burn the game and so i drag the .iso file in but it says that the stealth check has failed. I then tried dragging the .iso file and .dvd file into OSx360 but it does not let me and so i am unsure what to do as abgx360 says that the stealth check has passed and all crcs match and that the verification was successful yet OSx360 tells me otherwise.

most likely, the game is too new and has not been added to the abgx database yet. It is also possible that the iso you downloaded was not properly patched. I would wait a little while at least until it can be verified by abgx

Wanted to know, i just got the file “rrod-bdlands” I ran the abgx360 and it keeps on saying everything is valid but it cant verify stealth…it says it cant find the file in the database.
